What this directory is

Darkweb Market Directory is a research and reference resource. We compile descriptive material about Tor hidden services, onion addressing conventions, darknet forum culture, escrow models, PGP practice, and the public record of law enforcement operations such as Operation Onymous and DisrupTor. Everything here is meant to inform study and journalism about how these ecosystems work, their economics, and their trust mechanisms. We do not host, mirror, proxy, sell, or take commissions on anything a third party offers, and no listing should be read as an endorsement or an invitation.

Ownership and permitted citation

Editorial text, structure, and original analysis on this site belong to its operators. Short quotations with attribution — for an article, a report, or a research paper — are fine and encouraged. Republishing whole pages, reselling compiled listings, or training commercial products on the corpus without written permission is not.

Limits on use

• Do not employ the site in furtherance of any unlawful act, including fraud, carding, or the purchase of prohibited goods. That is outside our purpose and outside these terms.
• Do not automate mass retrieval, scrape the directory wholesale, or bypass the request throttling we enforce. Modest, rate-respecting access for personal research is welcome.
• Do not attempt to compromise the server, inject content, or interfere with other visitors.

We may restrict access where these boundaries are crossed.

No warranty on content

The material is supplied as is. Darknet markets appear, vanish, and are seized with little warning; onion addresses rot; historical claims are contested. We make no promise that any entry is current, complete, or accurate, and we disclaim any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Assumption of risk

This is an educational resource. Nothing on it is legal, financial, or security advice. Examining darknet ecosystems carries real hazards — legal exposure, malware, and financial loss among them. You carry that risk yourself. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operators accept no liability for losses or consequences arising from your use of the directory or of any third-party service you learn about through it.

We revise these terms when the site or the surrounding landscape changes. Updated text takes effect when posted, and continuing to use the directory afterward signals acceptance. Check back occasionally.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the site’s operators are established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where a dispute arises, the courts of that place have jurisdiction.
